Reviews
didn’t get anything but this place is beautiful! very organized and eclectic in terms of styles. color coding means that you have to sort through your size urself tho. the price is also reasonable. would recommend it a lot better than buffalo exchange or crossroads 10mins away.
It makes me so sad to say this, but I am consistently disappointed by this place. It looks so promising at a glance… But for such a humongous thrift store, you’d think there would be more size inclusivity. The dresses and skirts are mostly really, really small. I also have seen the same exact dresses and skirts sitting on the racks all year, which means like… who’s buying it? Clothing stores in general need to keep in mind that the average American woman is a size 14, not a size 2.
Not gonna give it 1 star, because the people who work there are nice
If someone wants to spend time to look after second hand or vintage clothing, this is one of the places in Brooklyn. Impressive but I have no patience for this. My daughter did have patience… 😎 …
This place is the holy grail of consignment/thrift/vintage shopping, clearly!!! With 3-6 buyers buying and a long line for selling, not to mention the vast amount of stock on hand, this place is really one of the best shopping around. Know that most of the clothing, aside from some pants, are not organized according to size, only by color. The prices vary widely and the selection immense. They have dressing rooms and good music too. Of all the Beacon's Closets', this one is the largest & best.
This review is for people who are interested in selling at Beacon’s Closet
Expect a wait regardless of the time of day. I came around 12:30PM and the wait …
Buyer beware: If you drop off your clothes, there will be a major discrepancy between their proposed “selling price” (you get 30% cash value) vs. what they will actually sell it for on the floor. …
This is the final straw with beacons closet. I have been four times to try and to sell and the wait is always ungodly long (2-5hrs). Unless you live in the neighborhood and can drop off your stuff and go home... This is inaccessible for …
Miles of used (but good condition) clothes often by color shoes shirts and pants for everyone
The items are fairly priced okay and mostly in great condition. They buy items and have a system where you can drop off if they can only get to reviewing your items later. It will be great to become familiar with what the trends are for that area before organizing the clothes you have to sell.
This place does have some good stuff, and it's big. But I have a proof that either the staff there are not good at pricing or they tend to overprice their items. Be prepare for that.
